Being so cooped up together has been a lot for everyone, so I took the opportunity as soon as I could to spend some quality time with my husband (without the kids).
I wanted to do something simple and romantic – just for us – so I thought, why not share this base recipe with you so that you can make it your own.
A few tips to help set the mood:
- Make it something to share – I presented the food on a cutting board and left the sauce on the side so that we can pour as much or as little as we wanted.
- Choose your own accoutrements so that you’re eating what you like with it, something to dip and share with each other.
- A glass of wine to celebrate yourselves and that you made it through lockdown !
- Music and candles… of course π
